Boston After School & Beyond (Boston Beyond) seeks to ensure that every child in Boston has the opportunity to develop to his or her full potential. Its role is to expand learning and skill development opportunities for students during the hours outside of school, through a coordinated approach to cross-sector partnerships.
The Boston Private Industry Council (PIC) strengthens Boston’s communities and its workforce by connecting youth and adults with education and employment opportunities that align with the needs of area employers. Its work is grounded in the belief that meaningful employment changes lives, lifts people out of poverty, and strengthens the local economy.
